For our Structural Engineering team in Herlev we are seeking an experienced profile with solid professional knowledge within load-bearing constructions and professional project management, and a passion for collegiality and team spirit.

In the team we work with the design of load-bearing structures and focus on robust, technically well-founded and sustainable solutions. The team is characterized by team spirit, knowledge sharing, professional sparring, high trust and inclusion, and you will have the opportunity to both shape your own contribution and serve as a technical sparring partner for your colleagues.

As a senior project engineer you will play a central role with responsibility for both professional quality, coordination and progress.

Your main tasks will be to

• take on the role of project engineer for structures on small and large projects
• act as responsible design engineer with coordinating responsibility towards the project manager and other design engineers
• ensure overview of tasks, time, quality and technical budget
• actively contribute to strategic and technical sparring in the cross-disciplinary collaboration
• support knowledge sharing and professional development in the team

The project engineer role will involve collaboration with colleagues from both home and abroad, and you will have great influence on planning your work and workload.

Qualifications

You have an engineering background and a minimum of 5 years of experience from a similar position in a consulting engineering company or similar.

In addition you have

• Experience with design of structures from the consulting sector and a solid understanding of the collaboration between BIM and engineering disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of Eurocodes, SBI 271, YBL and BR18.

We expect you to be approachable, collaborative and a strong communicator. You thrive in dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders and are prepared to work closely with international colleagues.

At the same time you are comfortable taking on the technical responsibility and acting as the technical lead in projects, where you contribute with overview, quality and technical depth.
