On behalf of Atea we are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant for operation, implementation and further development of virtualization platforms, based on among other Nutanix, HPE VME and Proxmox VE.

THE POSITION

You will become part of a strong technical team, where you will play a central role in deliveries to both private and public customers. The tasks range from implementation projects and migrations to operations, optimization and technical advisory in larger enterprise environments.

Your tasks will include

• Implementation and operation of virtualization platforms
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Nutanix- HPE VME and Proxmox environments
• Migration of workloads from existing platforms
• Troubleshooting, analysis and performance optimization
• Operation and administration of storage and cluster solutions
• Planning and execution of upgrades and lifecycle management
• Automation of operational tasks and standardization
• Documentation of solutions and operating procedures
• Technical advisory and sparring with customers and colleagues
• Participation in technical workshops and implementation projects

THE PERSON

We imagine that you have experience with operation and implementation of virtualization and infrastructure solutions in enterprise environments – preferably also based on platforms such as Nutanix, Proxmox VE or similar technologies.

You have solid knowledge of virtualization, cluster technologies, high availability, storage management and software-defined infrastructure as well as experience with Linux- and/or Windows Server, SAN/NAS solutions and network technologies such as VLAN, bonding and load balancing.

It is important that you have experience with automation and scripting – e.g. PowerShell or Python – and work in a structured manner with standardization, lifecycle management, patching and documentation. You also focus on secure operations through hardening, role-based access control (RBAC) and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

As a person you are technically strong, solution-oriented and responsible. You thrive in complex operational environments, work independently and are motivated to create stable, secure and scalable solutions for customers. At the same time you are collaborative and good at communicating with both customers and colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have certifications, whereas a minimum of 3-5 years experience with Nutanix, Proxmox, Linux administration, infrastructure automation as well as cloud- and hybrid infrastructure is expected.

The role requires that you are security cleared or have the possibility to become so.
