Service Technician

Are you sharp at electrical panels and troubleshooting - and do you also understand that good service is as much about people as about technology?

For an international company in Aalborg, we are seeking an independent and service-minded Field Service Technician. You will have a diverse daily life with technical tasks at customers in Denmark and the rest of Europe.

You will be the company's outward face when you install, service and troubleshoot advanced industrial solutions.

Therefore we are not only looking for a skilled technician, but also a professional partner who builds trust and follows the task through to completion.

Arbejdsopgaver Your main tasks

• Service, maintenance and troubleshooting at customers
• Troubleshooting on electrical panels, controllers and electrical installations
• Installation and commissioning of technical equipment
• Measurement, testing and systematic localization of electrical faults
• Customer support and technical advice
• Documentation and reporting of the work performed
• Service travel in Denmark as well as travel assignments in Europe

Faglige Kvalifikationer Your electrical professional toolbox is in order

We imagine that you have a background such as

• Elektriker
• Industrielektriker
• Automatiktekniker
• Elektronikfagtekniker
• Maskinmester
• Or a corresponding technical education

It is essential that you have solid electrical skills. You must be able to read and understand electrical diagrams and be familiar with practical switchboard work, measurements and systematic troubleshooting. At the same time you have a good mechanical understanding and a desire to work with both electrical and mechanical issues.

With the customer, you represent the company. Therefore we place a high emphasis on you

• Are solution-oriented - even when the problem is complex
• Can explain technical matters in an understandable way
• Take responsibility and keep the customer informed along the way
• Work independently, in a structured and efficient manner
• Keep an overview when the schedule is tight
• Follow tasks through to completion and deliver proper documentation

You speak and write Danish and can communicate with customers and colleagues in English. In addition you have a B driving license.

Særlige forhold Travel work must fit into your life

The position involves approximately 40-80 travel days per year , typically distributed over 2-4 trips per month . Travel mainly in Europe, and occasional tasks may arise with short notice.
