Service Technician - Repair of machines, electrical troubleshooting - Esbjerg

Lead The Talent is seeking on behalf of Jacob Bjerre Industrimaskiner ApS a service technician for field service and workshop work.

Job tasks

Your tasks will include

• Troubleshooting and repair of trucks and industrial machines.
• Electrical fault finding and problem solving.
• Service and repair of machines at the workshop and at customers' sites.
• Customer visits and handling of technical challenges on site.
• Registration and documentation of completed work.
• Diverse ad hoc tasks in connection with service and repair.

You will have a varied workday where you must be able to work independently, take responsibility and find solutions to technical problems.

About the position

• 25-37 hours per week with the possibility to agree on the concrete number of hours.
• Working hours are, as a rule, Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:30 and Friday 07:00-13:30. There is a possibility to agree on the working hours further.
• The position is offered as paid hours with the possibility of part-time or flex job .
• Expected start as soon as possible .

You will receive an internal introduction and training, so you are equipped to handle the company's service and repair tasks. Thereafter, you are expected to be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant professional background, for example as electrician, auto mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, marine engineer or ship fitter .
• Has practical experience with repair, service or troubleshooting of machines.
• Has technical understanding and can work systematically to identify and fix faults.
• Can work independently and responsibly after introduction and training.
• Is flexible and can handle different tasks during the workday.
• Has good physical fitness and thrives on practical and physical work.
• Can stay focused and work effectively, even under pressure when customers need help.
• Has a driver's license so you can reach customers.

Your experience and professionalism are more important than your age. There is room for the right candidate, and both working hours and number of hours can be adjusted by agreement.

The workplace is at Jacob Bjerre Industrimaskiner ApS , Vesterhavsgade 109, 6700 Esbjerg. The company is located by Esbjerg Harbour, and it is possible to reach the workplace by public transport.
