About the job

As project manager in Sewerage & Civil Engineering, you will have the opportunity to set the direction, develop strong client relationships and put your professional expertise to work on complex projects with great significance for the future of infrastructure.

In the role, you will be a key person in translating customers' needs into strong, cross-disciplinary solutions. You will be responsible for driving progress in the projects, ensuring quality in the deliverables, and contributing to the development of both our advisory services and our position in the market. You will also be an important sparring partner for colleagues and customers with the opportunity to influence both projects, relationships, and the professional direction.

Your primary tasks

  • Lead larger and smaller projects for both public and private clients and especially utility companies
  • Drive projects in drainage engineering, infrastructure and climate adaptation from early advisory to execution
  • Provide strong technical input and knowledge sharing across the department and Artelia
  • Utilize your market knowledge and network to strengthen relationships, spot opportunities and develop the business
  • Participate in bid work with commercial understanding, advisory experience and a sense for the customer's needs
  • Be involved in developing both the technical area and the department's position in the market.

With you on the team, we strengthen our consulting, knowledge sharing and market position, so we can solve even more complex tasks and create strong results for our clients.

You will become part of Sewerage & Civil Engineering in the Infrastructure business unit with local placement in Næstved. Nationally, Artelia has approximately 300 employees in the infrastructure area, and you will have access to a strong professional environment across the offices. Here you will collaborate with colleagues with competences in, among others, drainage engineering, design, remediation planning, hydrology, modelling, climate adaptation, traffic, roads, airports, geotechnics, bridges, railways, nature, sustainability and the environment.

Your profile

  • You have an engineering degree or other relevant technical background – preferably with specialization in drainage, infrastructure or climate adaptation.
  • You have a minimum of 8 years solid experience with drainage engineering and complex construction projects
  • You come with a strong advisory background and understand the interplay between the client, the project owner, the contractor and the adviser
  • You are a strong project leader, who creates momentum, clarity and motivation in the project team
  • You have good market knowledge and know what is moving with customers, clients and partners
  • You have a good network and a desire to use it actively in relationships, market dialogue and business development
  • You have experience with bid work and preferably knowledge of the legal aspects
  • You thrive in dialogue with customers, clients and colleagues
  • You communicate clearly in Danish – and preferably also in English.

At Artelia you will have the opportunity to bring both your professional expertise, curiosity and business understanding into play. We place a high value on wellbeing, collaboration and job satisfaction – both in everyday work and through the many professional, social and cultural activities that our employees help drive.

We offer

  • Many exciting and challenging projects
  • A strong professional network with engaged and capable colleagues
  • A culture in which well-being, collaboration and working conditions are highly prioritized
  • A dynamic and inspiring environment with ample opportunities for personal development
  • A workplace where “freedom with responsibility” is a core value
  • Good career opportunities, supported by internal training programs at the Academy, where we teach leadership, project management, BIM and other professional areas
  • Attractive employee benefits including health insurance, employee bonus, lunch scheme, active staff clubs, sports and cultural events, study trips, as well as an attractive compensation package.
