About the job

Are you passionate about creating a safe, playful and development-focused day for children in the early years? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We are seeking a pedagogically educated staff member for a permanent position in our 0th year group and SFO with start as soon as possible .

About Bording School and the SFO

Bording School is a workplace with close teamwork, high professionalism and a strong focus on communities, well-being and development. We work based on the values of dialogue, trust and responsibility, and we want to be a place where both children and staff feel at home, seen and acknowledged.

One of our hallmarks is a well-functioning collaboration between teachers and pedagogues. In both school and SFO we work in committed teams, where we share knowledge, plan together and create common frameworks for the children’s day. This means that we jointly raise the task of well-being, communities and the coherence between school and leisure time.

We create daily frameworks for development, relationships and play, and we place emphasis on children meeting adults who are present, clear and engaged – both in the teaching part and in the after-school part.

In the 0th year group, your work together with the team will be to stay close to the children during the transition from kindergarten to school and to create safe frameworks where relationships and well-being are central. Additionally, playful learning, social skills and good class communities are supported through everyday activities.

In the SFO we work purposefully with inclusion and participation promotion through Støtten (The Support). Here, children who need closer adult contact and/or a smaller, manageable unit are connected. We operate from an understanding that participation can look different in many ways, and that children may need different support to be part of the community. It is an important pedagogical task where we help children into communities in ways that make sense to them.
