Shipping Coordinator sought for company near Vejen

We are recruiting on behalf of a larger international company a Shipping Coordinator for a longer-term temporary position.

You will become part of a busy everyday life, where you will be responsible for coordinating shipments and ensuring that goods arrive on time.

Your responsibilities

• Preparation of export and customs documents
• Coordination of inbound and outbound goods
• Inventory reconciliation
• Obtaining freight rates and booking freight
• Contact and correspondence with carriers and shipping lines
• Creation of orders
• Monitoring of shipments and ensuring timely delivery
• Handling delays, damages or lost shipments
• Invoicing to various markets
• Data entry and updates in ERP systems
• Archiving and various ad hoc tasks
• Identify opportunities for improvements and savings

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in shipping, logistics or freight forwarding
• Would preferably have a relevant office education
• Has experience with international trade
• Has good English skills
• Is structured and detail-oriented
• Thrives with many different tasks and deadlines
• Has IT affinity and preferably experience with ERP systems
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
