Skilled and dedicated social- and health care assistant for day shift in Ballerup Home Care

In team 3 we are 30 employees – consisting of social- and health care assistants, social- and health care helpers, non-qualified hourly paid, coordinator, planner and team leader.

Key tasks

• We are in the process of developing in relation to the new Elderly Act, where the focus is on holistic care, self-determination and rehabilitation. You come aboard in a process where we all gain new knowledge, collaboration must be strengthened across, and we must obtain a common language about how we want to work moving forward.
• Based on what is important for the citizen, you support their resources and opportunities to cope as much as possible on their own.
• To see the whole person and create coherent pathways through close interdisciplinary collaboration.
• In addition, you will naturally get to use all your professional competencies in close collaboration with your colleagues and the interdisciplinary team.

• Educated as a social- and health care assistant
• Good at working structured, independently and as part of the team
• You take pride in your work, have initiative, and enjoy caring for others.
• Shows responsibility, commitment and contributes with a smile and good humor
• Is good at talking to and listening to our citizens.
• Has IT understanding and familiarity. We use Nexus, which you will be trained in.

Who are we

At Ballerup Municipality’s home care you will contribute to the good collaboration we have around the core task. We have a close interdisciplinary community with nurses, therapists and assessors. It helps ensure that our citizens receive a coherent and continuous process with rehabilitation, elderly care and nursing. You will become part of a co-governing team where our joint goal is to ensure high professionalism and quality in task execution, while also being mindful of your well-being

Employment process and salary

The start date is 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.

We conduct interviews as we receive applications.

The position is, as a rule, 37 hours and a permanent position.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for social- and health care personnel in the municipalities.

Employment takes place according to the principles of local pay formation and after agreement with the bargaining organization with the right to negotiation.

The salary range for the position as a social- and health care assistant is 31,584 - 44,053 DKK per month before pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiations between the employer and the professional organization that holds the right to bargaining in the relevant collective agreement area. Salary depends among other things on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
