Are you passionate about gastronomy, high tempo and good leadership in the kitchen? Bryggens Spisehus is looking for an engaging and qualified sous-chef who can be the head chef's right hand and lead the daily operations of our busy kitchen.

About the job and your responsibilities

As our new sous-chef you will play a key role in the kitchen. You will actively participate in daily cooking, but also focus on structure and leadership. Your tasks will include:

• Daily operation and service: Ensure that the food is always delivered in the highest quality – whether it's quick burger service, banquet meals or the classic à la carte.
• Kitchen leadership: Lead by example, motivate the team and delegate tasks during service.
• Quality and self-check: Shared responsibility to ensure the kitchen's hygiene standards, self-check and raw material handling are always on point.
• Stock ordering: Assist with inventory management and close dialogue with our suppliers.

We expect that you

• Have documented experience from a similar concept with both à la carte, banquets and burger service in a fast-paced environment.
• Are a trained chef or have solid practical experience at a comparable level.
• Have a sharp overview and be able to maintain a good mood – even in the most hectic hours.
• Are a team player who communicates clearly, constructively and professionally with both kitchen and service staff.
