Blacksmith for constructions and repairs in Vadum

Are you a smith and do you want freedom under responsibility and proper workshop work?

We are looking for a smith for constructions and repair in Vadum.

You land in a workshop environment where metal, processing and assembly fill daily life. The work shifts between tasks you solve yourself and tasks where you stand together with a partner. There is both fabrication, repair and service, so you get to use your hands broadly in the trade.

Freedom under responsibility is not for show here. You get room to make decisions in the work, but you are not alone when a task requires sparring. People stay long, and that says something about the daily life.

What you get

Salary: 190-215 DKK per hour

Work area: Vadum and surroundings

Colleagues: About 5 employees

Collective agreement: Employed under the applicable collective agreement

Employment: Permanent employment - we are looking for people we can work with for many years. No short-term programs.

Everyday: Pretreatment, assembly and repair

Your everyday

When a task is ready, you start with pretreatment and processing, before the parts are assembled or prepared for repair. Some tasks you do yourself, others are solved with a partner, when the subject requires more hands or professional sparring.

You will, among other things, work with

• Prepares and processes metal workpieces
• Manufactures and assembles constructions
• Solves repairs and service tasks
• Adapts and assembles parts so the work holds
• Speaks up if something doesn’t fit

People stay around here, so you land in a team that knows each other. It’s about good work, stable agreements and a daily life where you get to take responsibility.

We’re looking for you who can check most boxes

We don’t expect that you’ve done everything before. But you must be able to see a task and get started.

We imagine that you

• Have experience as a smith
• Are comfortable with pretreatment, processing and assembly
• Can work independently and with a partner
• Show up reliably and keep your commitments
• Says when something is off

It’s an advantage if you’ve tried both fabrication, repair and service. But the most important thing is that you work properly and take responsibility for what you deliver.
