We are looking for a blacksmith for machine construction and assembly in Kolding.

You land in a modern blacksmith and machine workshop where machines for industry and green areas are developed and manufactured. The team is about 15 employees, so there are people around you without it becoming a large factory. The work alternates between the workshop and scheduled assembly tasks, and you switch between your own tasks and paired work.

The role suits you who like building something that will actually be used afterwards. You get freedom with responsibility, but you are not alone when an assembly, montage or solution needs to be thought through properly. The social cohesion is part of the package, so everyday life must also function between tasks.

What you get Salary: 200-220 DKK per hour

Employment: Permanent employment - we are looking for people we can work with for many years. No short-term assignments.

Everyday: Construction, assembly and montage

Your everyday The day alternates between production of construction parts, assembly and montage. You work on the tasks that are planned, and take on adaptation, welding, building up or fieldwork depending on what is ready. There is especially work with production of parts and solutions in steel.

You will, among other things, work with

• Manufacture and assemble constructions and machine parts
• Mount solutions in the workshop and on agreed field tasks
• Weld and fit parts in primarily carbon steel
• Build according to drawings and agreed measurements
• Help with machine construction from idea to finished product

When something doesn’t fit quite right, you speak up and have it resolved properly. It’s a place where freedom with responsibility only works if people pull their weight and help each other when needed.

We’re looking for you who can check off most You don’t need to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have experience as a blacksmith or with metalworking
• Have tried construction fabrication, assembly or montage
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your commitments
• Show up reliably and take action when there is something to be done
• Say so if something doesn’t add up

It’s an advantage if you have a couple of years’ experience from a workshop, montage or machine building. But the most important is that you enjoy doing solid blacksmith work and making things fit.
