Ironworker for steel structures and machine assembly in Herning

We are looking for a blacksmith in Herning for construction, assembly and service.

You land in a larger metal workshop, where the tasks range from building steel to machine parts and components. Customers are in construction, agriculture and industry, so everyday work has more substance than small repairs alone. Work is done in aluminum, iron and stainless steel, and the workshop has machines for cutting, bending, rolling and sheet metal work.

Your role is to fabricate, assemble and make constructions fit in practice. Some tasks are solved in the workshop, and others are connected with assembly or service. The company car is included in the package, and a driving license is required.

What you’ll get Salary: 200-220 DKK per hour

Everyday: Constructions, assembly and service

Your everyday The work is driven by the concrete orders, where parts must be manufactured, assembled and prepared for installation or further use. Some days are mainly about new steel constructions, others about repairs, service or machine assembly, where the parts must fit the first time.

You will, among other things, work with

• Manufacture and assemble constructions in steel and metal
• Work with hydraulics and machine assembly
• Resolve repairs and service tasks
• Weld and assemble constructions in iron, aluminum and stainless steel
• Adjust machine parts and components for agriculture and industry

It’s work for you who like visible results: constructions, components and machine parts that will be used afterwards. When something doesn’t fit, you speak up and make sure it’s fixed properly.

We’re looking for you who can check most boxes You don’t have to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a blacksmith
• Have a driving license
• Can work with fabrication and assembly of constructions
• Are punctual and take responsibility for your appointments
• Speak up if something doesn’t add up

It’s a plus if you have experience with hydraulics, machine installation, repair or service. But the most important is that you can roll up your sleeves and do blacksmith work that lasts.
