Committed colleague to the Municipal Food Service

The Municipal Food Service in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality now offers the perfect candidate a fantastic job opportunity.

We are looking for a colleague who, with lots of kitchen experience, is ready to join the team in one of our kitchens, which consists of chefs, nutrition assistants and unskilled staff, all passionate about cooking from scratch.

If you are driven by enthusiasm for our classic kitchen categories and at the same time want to develop them together with your colleagues in line with the times and residents' needs, then perhaps you are the person to be our new colleague.

We meet at eye level which is why it's important that you want to put your mark on everything from menu planning and purchases to production and plating for the residents, as well as participate in the development of the food we produce. You must be able to keep an overview and we expect you to take responsibility.

The position is 37 hours per week and the working hours are in the period between 07:00-17:00 on weekdays and working every 4th weekend, as well as on public holidays can be expected.

The tasks are primarily

• Production of cold and hot meals for the residents of the care home
• Production of accompaniments to today's meals as well as enriched meals
• Baking bread and cakes
• Tidying up and cleaning
• Training of students
• Daily communication and collaboration with the care centre's nursing staff
