Sneslev Landbørnehus seeks an educator for 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027.

With us, nature is a part of everyday life, and the pedagogy lives in the small and large experiences. We sow, harvest, explore, play, light fires and take care of our animals.

We believe that children develop best in safe relationships, in meaningful communities and together with adults who are present and curious about their world.

We are a medium-sized, integrated early childhood facility with a norm of 55 children distributed across the toddler unit and the kindergarten. You will be employed across the whole house with your primary attachment to one of the departments.

We are looking for you who

• are educated as an educator and passionate about children’s well-being, play and development.
• can create safe, present relationships and meet each child with warmth, clarity and respect.
• can plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities based on the group of children and each individual child’s needs.
• can support children's play, language, social skills and participation in the community.
• have an eye for children's perspectives and can follow their initiatives, while taking responsibility for structure and direction in daily life.
• are keen to actively use nature and everyday opportunities in pedagogy – for example through outings, investigations, fires, animals, sowing and harvest.
• can collaborate closely with colleagues and parents and contribute constructively to shared problem solving.
• take responsibility for documentation, reflection and professional development in daily life.
• are proactive, flexible and engaged and meet both children, parents and colleagues with humor, care and a positive attitude.
• want to contribute to a strong collegial community where we develop together.
