Social- and health care assistant for night shift at Borupvænget

Are you a social- and health care assistant, and are you looking for a workplace where professionalism, presence and safety go hand in hand – even when night falls? Then we have a fixed night shift position ready for you at Borupvænget.

With us you are never alone at night. There are three of us on duty each night, distributed, and there is therefore opportunity for sparring, cooperation and mutual support.

Borupvænget is located in the northern part of Randers in green, rural surroundings. We have a total of 103 apartments spread over three units, which include sheltered housing for the elderly, elderly housing and a secured unit for residents with dementia.

Night shifts are exciting and varied. We prioritise residents' sleep and presence in the tasks we perform. Although unforeseen situations may arise, we always start from the individual person to create safety, dignity and the best possible framework for the residents.

Your role as night nurse

As a social- and health care assistant at night you help ensure safety for our residents and be a strong professional anchor in the quiet hours.

You will, among other things, work

• Provide the holistic care and the health care tasks needed during the night hours
• Observe, assess and respond to any changes in residents' health
• Work independently and create safety and calm for the residents
• Handle medication management, documentation and triage
• Collaborate closely with your two night colleagues on the shift
• Ensure a good and thorough handover to the day shift

Practical

• Start date: As soon as possible.
• Employment: We offer a fixed night shift position. Hours by agreement (but minimum 28 hours per week) and work every 2nd weekend. There is the possibility to work in a fixed 5-2 rotation.
