Social- and Health Care Assistant students for Foundation Course 2 from January 2027

Frederiksberg Municipality is seeking engaged and capable social- and health care assistant trainees to start on Grundforløb 2 on January 25, 2027, with subsequent main course on hold A2706. If you have a full upper secondary education, the start date for Grundforløb 2 is April 22, 2027.

About the training

• The entire training lasts 3 years, 4 months and 3 weeks (including Grundforløb 2)
• You alternate between school and on-the-job training
• You will have a contact person during the school periods and a supervisor/mentor during the training periods
• In your on-the-job training periods you work 37 hours per week in day, evening or weekend shifts as well as Sundays and holidays
• You will receive an apprentice contract with Frederiksberg Municipality, and you will receive apprentice wages throughout the entire training.

School

Frederiksberg Municipality collaborates with Diakonissestiftelsen’s School of Social and Health Care. This means that the theoretical part of the education takes place at Diakonissestiftelsen – a smaller school with a long educational tradition. In the school periods you will receive instruction in small groups with fixed teachers. Students who have previously completed their education at Diakonissen have chosen this precisely because of the close and supportive study environment.

On-the-job training

During the education, the on-the-job training periods will take place at Frederiksberg Municipality’s care centers, institutions and home care. At the training sites you will be met by dedicated mentor teams with high professional standards.

We focus on helping you get through the education well and ensuring you have a structured and safe educational trajectory. We strive to ensure a good workplace culture, where you as an apprentice feel valued and prioritized.

• Good opportunities for employment after completing the education.

Salary

Frederiksberg Municipality offers salary in accordance with the applicable collective agreement during both school and on-the-job training periods.

Adult apprentice wage in accordance with the Adult Apprenticeship Scheme

If you are 25 years old but do not have work experience qualifying you for the adult apprentice wage under the collective agreement, you may possibly receive the adult apprentice wage through the Adult Apprenticeship Scheme.

If you are unsure whether you can qualify for the adult apprentice wage under the collective agreement or the Adult Apprenticeship Scheme, you should contact your own municipality, which can help you determine whether you have the possibility of wages under the scheme.

If you are not qualified for the adult apprentice wage under the collective agreement or for the Adult Apprenticeship Scheme, Frederiksberg Municipality still has the opportunity to offer you the adult apprentice wage if you are 25 years old and are offered an apprentice position.

It is a requirement that you

• Are prepared for rotating work hours and must be able to start from 07:00
• Can cycle safely in traffic and use your own bike during the training periods
• Are a Danish citizen or have a valid residence and work permit.

Message about interview, employment or rejection
