At Strandmarkshave we are looking for an engaged social and healthcare assistant for a day shift in department 166. Strandmarkshave is a nursing home in Hvidovre Municipality, where we work with respect, dignity, self-determination and quality of life as central values.

We believe that a good old age life is about more than care and assistance, and therefore we work with holistic care, rehabilitation and person-centered care, where residents' wishes, resources and individual needs are the starting point.

Strandmarkshave consists of three care departments as well as a day center, kitchen, activities, administration and service functions.

The position is in department 166, which is spread over two floors with 12 residents on each floor. You will become part of an engaged team of staff, where we value professional quality, cooperation, humor and a good working environment.

Your role with us

As a social and health care assistant you play a central role in ensuring quality, coherence and continuity in the residents' daily life.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• To provide compassionate and professionally competent care based on the residents' needs and wishes
• To work rehabilitatively and support residents' self-determination and quality of life
• To observe and respond to changes in the residents' health status as well as contribute to triage and early detection
• To perform health-related tasks, including medication management and documentation
• To collaborate with relatives, colleagues and interdisciplinary partners
• To mentor students and contribute to professional development and meaningful activities with the residents.

You will have the opportunity to put your professional skills to use and influence the development of our joint practice.

Who are you?

You are educated as a social and health care assistant and would like to use both your professional skills and your human competencies in elder care.

Practical information

The position: Day shift and weekend work every 3rd weekend as well as three holiday weekends annually.

Start date: By agreement – we are happy to wait for the right colleague.

Salary and employment: According to the current agreement between KL and FOA as well as the principles for local pay setting.
