About the job

Would you like to be part of a developing multidisciplinary work environment where we work every day to ensure that our residents can live the life they want?

At Thulebakken Nursing Home we are looking for a social and health care assistant or a social and health care helper who wants to become part of our community.

About Thulebakken

Thulebakken Nursing Home is centrally located in Hasseris, close to Aalborg city center with green surroundings around us. Thulebakken has a total of 72 places, of which 48 are somatic places and 24 dementia places. The home is built on two floors and consists of three houses: House 2, House 4 and House 20. The three houses contain a total of six living units, one of which is reserved for residents with dementia.

We are about 70 dedicated employees with different professional backgrounds. Here, social- and health care assistants, social- and health care assistants, nurses, flex workers and young workers work closely together on the core task. We prioritize good collaboration with our nursing home doctors and other interdisciplinary partners. We are also open to new ideas and new thinking – always with the residents' well-being and quality of life as the starting point. We also have several volunteers who come to Thulebakken and, among other things, visit and create good moments together with some of our residents.

For us, the resident is in the center

We prioritize both the lived and the living life in a home-like and safe environment. We work from a rehabilitative approach with a focus on helping people to help themselves, so that each resident has the opportunity to maintain as much independence as possible and do what makes sense in everyday life.
