Who are we

The Televænget residential service is a social-psychiatric residential facility with 29 places distributed across 8 long-term residential slots under the Social Services Act § 108 and 21 temporary residential slots under § 107. The service is aimed at citizens in the 18-64 age group who live with a mental functional impairment and have different needs for support to master their lives.

The staff group consists of social pedagogues, occupational therapists, social and health care helpers (SOSU) and a nutrition and dietetics bachelor.

We have a night team and three teams in the department, each of which is responsible for a group of residents.

How we work

At Televænget we work recovery-oriented and rehabilitative. We believe that all people have resources, hope and dreams that can form the basis for development and change. Therefore, our work always starts from the individual resident's wishes, goals and experience of a good life.

We work closely with the residents, and it is their wishes, dreams and goals that set the direction for our professional efforts. Relational pedagogy is the focus of our daily work, and we consider good and trusting relationships as the path to succeed in supporting residents on the way to the goals that give meaning to them. Relationship-building is therefore central to what we do, and we emphasize meeting residents with presence, respect and professionalism.

As a social pedagogue at Televænget you will work closely with your team colleagues, but you will also have a close collaboration with the professional coordinator and the service manager.

The daily work ranges from breakfasts with the residents, documentation in cases, activities such as walks and morning gymnastics to motivational conversations and professional meetings and discussions.

We are looking for a social pedagogue who takes responsibility and actively contributes to the community, values collaboration and professionalism highly, wants to create a good and dignified life for the citizens and is curious about their own practice and development. In addition, you must be visible and accessible so you help create safe surroundings for everyone in the service. Your view of people, your approach to the residents and the way you meet tasks and challenges are important to us.

We therefore seek someone who

• Is trained as a social pedagogue or has another medium- or long-term higher education.
• Has documented experience from the social-psychiatric field and with working rehabilitatively
• Is good at learning and can express themselves clearly both orally and in writing
• Has experience with the rehabilitative approach, LA2, motivational interviewing and relational pedagogy.

What we offer

We have two vacant positions with day and evening shifts and weekend work every third weekend.

We have a thorough onboarding process where you are introduced to our professional approaches, IT system, the other departments in the center and much more. The first two weeks of your employment are an introduction so you have a good opportunity to get to know the house’s residents, your new colleagues and the house’s rhythm.

We have case supervision every 4 weeks and continuously work on our professionalism and ensuring that Televænget remains a good place to live and work.

Employment is carried out in accordance with applicable collective agreement.
