IT support specialist with knowledge of hospital operations

Do you have experience with IT support, and have you previously worked in a health care context, e.g. at a hospital? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for to our well-functioning IT department at Sygehus Sønderjylland.

We are seeking a service-minded and solution-oriented IT supporter with a minimum of 2 years of experience to strengthen our team. You will become part of a department with high professional standards, a strong sense of community, and extensive interaction with clinical and administrative users. The entire IT department today is a team of 30 employees. You will be based in a shared office with 5 other IT support colleagues.

About the job

You will play a central role in daily IT support and operations across the hospital’s campuses (Aabenraa, Sønderborg and Tønder) where you will be a key contact for our users. Your tasks will include:

• User and device support via phone, in person and Service Now
• Troubleshooting and problem solving in clinical systems and equipment
• Installation and configuration of PCs, printers and mobile devices
• Participation in smaller implementation tasks and ongoing maintenance
• Collaboration with colleagues and cross-department cooperation with other departments

We expect that you

• Have a relevant IT support education
• Have at least 2 years of practical experience with IT support – preferably from the health care sector
• Have knowledge of workflows in the health care sector
• Are service-minded, responsible and have good collaboration skills
• Are structured and can maintain an overview – even when things get busy
• Speak and write Danish fluently

Employment terms

The position is full-time at 37 hours with start as soon as possible and no later than 1.1.2027. The workplace will be at Sygehus Sønderjylland’s campuses, primarily in Aabenraa, but with tasks across.

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of the base salary, centrally determined allowances and pension in the collective agreement for Craftsmen, installers, electronic technicians etc. – collective agreement 32.23.1. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
