Hillerød Municipality seeks social and health care assistant apprentices for a cohesive program consisting of GF2 (Foundation Course 2) and the main course. The GF2 program starts on 15 February 2027. To apply for employment in Hillerød with GF2 pay, you must first apply for GF2 via Optagelse.dk and receive an admission letter from SOSU H. Hillerød Municipality will, in cooperation with you and the school, develop an educational program consisting of GF2 and the main course in the Social and Health Care Assistant education.

As a social and health care assistant you can take on tasks across many branches of the health service – both in municipalities, in psychiatry, and in hospitals. The tasks include for example personal care, rehabilitation, health promotion, disease prevention, documentation, administration of medicines, and nursing tasks.

As a social and health care assistant you will work with coordinating functions, pedagogical tasks and quality assurance. These will also be tasks during the apprenticeship in the main course.

In Hillerød Municipality we also offer a Ungefællesskab (youth community) across SOSU-educations for apprentices under 26 years old. In this community you are an important teammate.

Criminal record certificate

Employment in Hillerød Municipality is conditional on being able to present a public criminal record. If we agree on employment in Hillerød Municipality, we will request that you obtain a criminal record certificate.

• willing to develop skills/competences within communication and collaboration
• reliable in attendance and take responsibility for your education
• officially qualified to be admitted to GF2

The GF2 training consists of 20 weeks of theory at school; it is only in the main course that theory and on-the-job training alternate. The on-the-job training periods in the main course are distributed between the primary sector, municipal social psychiatry or adult education area as well as somatics. The training ends with on-the-job training in a municipal setting. If you have a gymnasium background, you must document this in your application to SOSUH.

Salary and employment conditions

The working hours are 37 hours per week.

The employment is fixed-term. This means you are employed for as long as the education lasts. You will receive a wage during the entire training.
