Social and Health Care Assistant for Lysbro Nursing Home

Primary evening shift sought: If you are trained as a social- and health helper, we are seeking for Lysbro Care Centre, a cozy care centre in Silkeborg Municipality.

Do you have a value set that includes respect, integrity, and responsibility? Then at Lysbro Care Centre we have an open position, in mixed shifts, but primarily evening shifts. The position is available 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible.

Lysbro Care Centre is located in Silkeborg with 46 resident apartments, close to nature. We have professionally competent and engaged staff who work with the core task in focus. We work from person-centered care, where ethics, respect and dignity in the work are valued in our meetings with our residents. Our focus is that residents experience a meaningful life, based on the wishes and needs each individual has for life.

At Lysbro we work to ensure a good working environment, where we use each other as sparring partners and place a high value on it being pleasant to come to work. We are currently working to bring Lysbro together into one unit after several years with two managers on site. We focus on an open-dialogue culture and we use humor in daily life. The involvement of relatives is highly valued, and we have our own nurse and a therapist team employed at Lysbro Care Centre.

We have a friendship association attached that holds evening events every month, as well as volunteers for flower arranging, communal singing, walks, just as we use a bicycle courier. We also have visits from kindergarten children, bingo, parties and other activities in collaboration with the staff.
