Who are we

The Televænget residential facility is a social-psychiatric residential facility with 29 places distributed over 8 long-term residential places under the Danish Act on Social Services § 108 and 21 temporary residential places under § 107. The facility serves citizens aged 18-64 who live with a mental functional impairment and have varying needs for support to master their lives.

The staff consists of social pedagogues, occupational therapists, SOSU assistants, and a bachelor in nutrition and dietetics.

We have a night team and three teams in the department, each responsible for a group of residents.

How we work

At Televænget we work recovery-oriented and rehabilitative. We believe that all people have resources, hope and dreams that can form the basis for development and change. Therefore, our work always starts from the individual resident's wishes, goals and experience of a good life.

We collaborate closely with the residents, and it is their wishes, dreams and goals that set the direction for our professional effort. Relational pedagogy is the driving force of our daily work, and we consider good and trusting relationships as the path to successfully supporting residents on the way to the goals that make sense for them. Relationship-building is therefore foundational for what we do, and we emphasize meeting residents with presence, respect and professionalism.

As a social pedagogue at Televænget you will work closely with your team colleagues, but you will also have close collaboration with the professional coordinator and the service manager.

The daily work ranges from breakfast with residents, documentation in cases, activities such as walks and morning gymnastics, to motivating conversations and professional meetings and discussions.

We are looking for a social pedagogue who takes responsibility and actively contributes to the community, values collaboration and professionalism highly, wants to create a good and dignified life for the residents and is curious about their own practice and development. In addition, you must be visible and accessible, so you contribute to creating safe environments for everyone in the facility. Your view of people, your approach to residents, and the way you meet tasks and challenges are important to us.

We are therefore looking for you who

• Are trained as a social pedagogue or have another intermediate- or long-cycle higher education degree.
• Have documented experience from the social-psychiatric area and with working rehabilitatively
• Are good at learning and can express yourself clearly both verbally and in writing
• Have experience with the rehabilitative approach, LA2, motivational interviewing and relational pedagogy.

What we offer

We have two full-time positions available with day and evening shifts and weekend work every third weekend.

We have a thorough onboarding process where you are introduced to our professional approaches, IT system, the other departments in the center and much more. The first two weeks of your employment are an introduction, so you have a good opportunity to get to know the house residents, your new colleagues and the rhythm of the center.

We have case supervision every 4 weeks and we continuously work on our professionalism and ensuring that Televænget remains a good place to live and work.

The employment is in accordance with current arrangements after negotiation.
