Social pedagogue with sharp overview wanted - Gentofte Municipality

One of our sweet colleagues is on leave, and we therefore need a social educator (socialpædagog) for our assembly workshop from January 1 to and including June 31, 2027 with the possibility of extension. You will become part of a team with two other social educators at the workshop.

At the Assembly Workshop, 18 employees with special needs work, whom you will help provide a meaningful and developmental employment opportunity. The assembly workshop is a production workshop where we solve tasks for private companies. These can be tasks such as packing, folding, labeling, counting, assembling, etc.

About the position

Your primary task will be to structure the participants' tasks and support and guide them along the way in the assembly work. You must also help ensure and develop the daily production and have an overview of the production work. An important part of the job is also to quality assure the finished product that we deliver to the customers. You may be strong in writing, as we document the participants' well-being, learning and development in Sensum.

We are looking for you if you

• Have an educational degree in pedagogy or experience with the special needs field
• Can learn from you and meet the participants with recognition and good humor
• Are strong in relationships and passionate about working with people with special needs
• Work in a structured way and are good at maintaining an overview.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 37 hours and paid according to the collective agreement for social educators.
