Sorting staff sought for peak season at Bring

Black Friday is approaching, and as part of the team you will play an important role in ensuring that Bring meets its daily targets during a busy period. The everyday work is fast-paced, where you and your colleagues pull together. Therefore, it is important that you are flexible and ready to take on different types of tasks. Precision and focus are key words at Bring, and it will be your task to maintain these standards.

The job

At Bring in Taulov we are now looking for new employees for our sorting team for their peak period. Here you will be an important part of a team where thousands of parcels are handled every day – quickly, precisely and in good spirits.

In your daily work you will primarily be connected to two departments: Infeed and Returns . The Infeed department handles all the parcels received at the terminal and placed on the conveyor belt, while the Returns department is responsible for distributing the parcels from the belt to the different shipping cages. From here the parcels are sent on either around Denmark or to centers in Sweden and Norway.

There are clear targets for how many parcels must be loaded onto the automatic production belt per hour to keep the remaining functions running. You must therefore thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision is a must.

The majority of your work will take place at the production belt, where you can look forward to the following tasks:

• Sorting parcels from pallets delivered from around the world.
• Sorting parcels from the automatic packing belt to the correct shipping cages.
• Ad hoc tasks related to warehousing and tidying the warehouse.

In addition, there will also be tasks in the department that handles oversize goods. This task is more physically demanding, as you must handle heavier goods than at the production belt.

The ideal candidate for the job

We are looking for someone who is ready to work from week 48 to week 53 - possibly also some weeks at the start of January. You have the right attitude and are eager to contribute to maintaining the high standard. You understand how to balance pace and thoroughness so that tasks are completed accurately - and on time.

Our expectations of you as a temp are that you are ready to get stuck in and reliable in attendance. Additionally, we would like you to be able to communicate in Danish or English.

The working hours will be Monday to Friday from 14:00-22:00 - Later in the peak period the working hours will be from 15:00.

You will be assigned a mix of fixed shifts and on-call shifts.

The practical

Base pay: 158.45 DKK/hour.

Task-based allowance: 5.5 DKK/hour.

Warehouse allowance: 9.65 DKK/hour.

Holiday pay scheme: 10% of the holiday-eligible pay.

Total: 190,- DKK per hour

+ a daytime supplement of 49.1 DKK/hour on weekdays 18:00-06:00.

The temporary position starts in week 48.
