Are you passionate about both pedagogy and leadership? Do you want to help shape the visions and the pedagogical line in a completely new leadership team? Børnehuset Humlehuset in Sorgenfri is seeking a professionally strong deputy head for 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027. With us you get a unique combination of close pedagogical practice on the floor and strategic leadership work in a fantastic natural area.

Who are we?

Børnehuset Humlehuset is located in a charming old villa and a newer forest house. We have a 5,000 m² splendid garden with apple trees and climbing trees, which challenge the children's play, senses and motor skills. From the garden there is direct access to Prinsesse-stien (Princess Path) and Lyngby Åmose, giving us optimal frames for ample outdoor life. We are only a 10-minute walk from Sorgenfri Station, and we are staffed for 24 toddlers and 50 preschool children .

Who are we looking for?

We imagine that you are trained educator with solid experience from the 0-6 years area. In addition, we are looking for someone who:

• Builds bridges: Can act as a link between management and staff, and bring an 'outside-in' perspective into the management room.
• Involves staff: Understands how to “stick a finger in the ground” and make pedagogical initiatives grow from the bottom up.
• Maintains overview: Can create calm in a changing everyday life, and thrive with both independent tasks and close teamwork.
• Communicates strongly: Can articulate clearly and professionally, and give and receive constructive feedback.
• Values collaboration: Has experience with and sees great value in good, close parent collaboration.
• Substitutes when needed: It is expected that you can step in when the leader is absent.
