Assistant Manager for 7-Eleven at Herlev Hospital

Our expectations of you

In 7-Eleven, the customer is our top boss and always has first priority.

As assistant manager you are the store manager's right-hand and your primary task is to lift sales, create a good atmosphere for customers and ensure a consistently neat and inviting store.

You must thrive on unforeseen challenges and be eager to go the extra mile when needed, i.e. be the one wearing the lead jersey so that it becomes fun to be both customer and employee in the store – we want it to be fun and profitable .

As a person it is important that you can work in a structured and independent manner, as you in this job will mostly work alone. We would very much like you to have several years of experience from retail or a similar position, but it is not a requirement.

Responsible for store operations

In close cooperation with the store manager, you are responsible for the store and the daily operations, including:

• Achieve the daily and monthly sales figures and budgets
• Ordering of goods
• Receiving and replenishment of goods
• Orderliness and structure in the warehouse and office
• Preparation of food
• Compliance with the store's Self-Control Program
• Cleaning routines in the store are systematized
• Execution of campaigns according to the given deadlines
• Daily follow-up and adherence to the depreciation/shrinkage budget
• Actively participate in status meetings focusing on optimization of shrinkage results
• Contribute to compliance with internal guidelines
• Active participation in and around the store's events is expected
• Diverse ad hoc tasks in a dynamic daily routine

The position is based on a 2-week period: Monday–Friday from 7:00 – 16:00, as well as every other Saturday. We are open 24/7 all year round, and Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve rotate accordingly.

Salary and employment terms are regulated by the store collective agreement as well as special provisions after agreement with HK Handel.
