Special Center Vest seeks class teacher for the middle level

We are looking for an engaged, relationship‑oriented and experienced teacher in a 37‑hour fixed‑term position for our middle school class with start as soon as possible. Your functions will be as a classroom, physical education and Danish teacher.

Special Center Vest is a designated special center offering for students with special educational support needs, where you will be part of a strong team with both skilled, clear and experienced teachers and educators as well as a good working environment. Collaboration with colleagues, children and parents is highly valued in a often busy daily life, where you need to be adaptable and flexible.

We currently have 39 students from kindergarten to 10th grade distributed in 3 levels: early years, middle years and upper grades. V2 is the middle school class, and it is in this class that we are seeking you!

Special Center Vest is part of Ringkøbing Skole, department Rindum, with a total of about 620 students from 0th–9th grade and 100 employees, SFO and Klub located in the heart of Rindum with a lovely garden and pleasant surroundings.

We are looking for you

• who is stable, robust and calm – also when the students' days can be difficult
• who has experience with- or is willing to learn to become sharp in working with LST
• who wants to work on your own role and approach, bring yourself into play and participate in supervision

We expect that you

• meet the students with a basis in Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality's Child and Youth Vision
• want to, in a close team collaboration, have a particular focus on interdisciplinary collaboration
• can work with co‑teaching in preparation, execution and evaluation
• contribute with joy and enthusiasm for the benefit of everyone at Ringkøbing School
• would contribute to a working environment where respect, responsibility as well as a healthy curious attitude towards one’s own and others’ practice increases the conditions for professional development
