About the job Børnehuset Pilegården has established a new group arrangement for children with special pedagogical needs as of May 1, 2025, and for that group we are seeking a special educator. We are looking for someone who wants to make their mark and is eager to practice, learn and develop – together with us.

Who are we

Pilegården is a kindergarten where the commitment to the responsible community matters greatly in everyday life for both children and adults. We have many positive experiences with functioning in smaller units in the house while also working across the nursery and kindergarten with a shared focus. We have ample space in our group rooms and have a workshop and a motor skills room, which we share. Our large green playground has an exit to a unique natural area with fields, a stream, wetlands and cows grazing.

We collaborate with our nature guide either in Naturhuset Bistruphus or at home in the kindergarten. We have electric cargo bikes, making it easy to get around, on longer trips and to Bistruphus. We are a 15 minutes' walk from Birkerød Station and a bus stop nearby.

About the job

You will have your base in a group of 6 children with special educational needs and become part of a team of a total of 4 educators who work in special education. The special educational support is carried out in close interaction with the rest of the kindergarten, where you will work closely together to create participation opportunities for all children in the child community. We work on the principle that the safe nest a child needs can benefit all children. Therefore the whole kindergarten works from Nest pedagogy's values, approaches and methods.

We work in close collaboration with PPR, and receive ongoing supervision.

About you We are a good match if

• You are a trained pedagogue, preferably with special educational experience with children aged 3-5 years
• You have specialized pedagogical knowledge and competencies.
• You can see yourself in a kindergarten where Nest pedagogy is the central element.
• You are interested in working inclusively and with a starting point in the child community
• You are prepared to collaborate in a professional learning community - in-house and interdisciplinary
• You have a sense for involving and collaborating with parents
• You want to practice, learn and develop – together with us.
