About the job

Pilegården Daycare has established a new group arrangement for children with special educational needs as of May 1, 2025, and for that group we are looking for a special pedagogue. We are looking for you who want to make your mark and are eager to practice, learn and develop – together with us.

Who are we

Pilegården is a daycare where the commitment to the inclusive community is very important in daily life for both children and adults. We have many positive experiences with functioning in smaller units in the house while also working across the nursery and kindergarten with a shared focus. We have good space in our group rooms and we share a workshop and a motor skills room. Our large green playground has access to a unique natural area with fields, streams, wetlands and cows on grass.

We collaborate with our nature guide either in Naturhuset Bistruphus or at home in the daycare. We have electric assist cargo bikes, making it easy to get around, on longer trips and to Bistruphus. We are a 15-minute walk to Birkerød Station and have a bus stop nearby.

About the job

You will have your base in a group with 6 children with special educational needs and will be part of a team of a total of 4 pedagogues who work in a specialized pedagogy. The special pedagogical efforts are carried out in close interaction with the rest of the daycare, where you will work closely together to create participation opportunities for all children in the child community. We work from the principle that the safe nest a child needs can benefit all children. Therefore the whole daycare works from the Nest pedagogy values, approaches and methods.

We work in close collaboration with PPR, and receive ongoing supervision.

About you

We are a good match if

• You are a qualified pedagogue, preferably with special educational experience with children aged 3-5 years
• You have special educational knowledge and competencies.
• You can see yourself in a daycare where Nest pedagogy is the central element.
• You have an interest in working inclusively and with the starting point in the child community
• You are eager to collaborate in a professional learning community – in the house and cross-disciplinary
• You have an eye for involving and collaborating with parents
• You are eager to practice, learn and develop – together with us.

Employment terms
