Specialist in Psychiatry

At AS3 Psychiatry, we are seeking a dedicated and professionally well-founded specialist in psychiatry for our location in Viby J or Copenhagen Ø. You will play a central role in a multidisciplinary team that works purposefully to help candidates return to the labor market through thorough assessment and treatment. The position is flexible with regard to hours.

Note: You will only be attached to one location.

At AS3 Work&Care we have built up an internal psychiatry function focused on performing psychiatric assessments for the people we have in programs through pension and insurance companies. We are growing, and therefore we are now looking for specialists in psychiatry across Denmark.

Where you come into the picture

As a psychiatrist you will have a key role in contributing to a multidisciplinary effort with a focus on helping our candidates stay on or return to the labor market.

Your primary tasks will be

• Psychiatric assessment and evaluation: Conduct psychopathological assessments with a view to a diagnostic conclusion and assessment of treatment needs. This also includes a prognosis regarding the candidate's work capacity.
• Initiation and follow-up of treatment: Assess indications and initiate pharmacological treatment for different kinds of mental disorders, in particular anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and ADHD.
• Participation in treatment conferences: Contribute to multidisciplinary conferences to qualify diagnoses, assess treatment effect and decide on further treatment options.

There is also the possibility to carry out counseling sessions with candidates if you wish.

First and foremost, it is a requirement that you are educated as a specialist in psychiatry.

Additionally we emphasize that you

• Have experience with psychiatric assessment and treatment, preferably within affective disorders such as anxiety, depression and ADHD.
• Have the ability to synthesize and assess complex cases and communicate them in a clear and understandable manner.
• Have a welcoming and empathetic mindset that enables you to meet people at eye level and collaborate across disciplines.
• Have a biopsychosocial view of mental disorders and are driven by helping people return to work.
