Who are we?

Ishøy & Berg was founded by psychiatrist Pelle Lau Ishøy, Ph.D. and senior psychologist Kim Berg, Ph.D. The purpose of the clinic is to create a holistic treatment offering for all types of clients under one roof. The driving force is deep professionalism, interdisciplinary collaboration and best-in-class service based on the individual client.

With us, assessment and treatment go hand in hand. Most clients start with assessment and diagnostic clarification. After which many continue in medical treatment, psychoeducation or therapy – all gathered in one place.

We are based in Copenhagen K and in Ringsted. We are a team of 13 health and administrative staff. Our experts are psychiatrists, doctors, senior psychologists, psychologists and clinical nurses.

Job description in more detail

We are seeking a specialist physician in psychiatry for a permanent position with start as soon as possible. In the position you will hold a very central function in the clinic. Our clients come with very different psychiatric problems, the majority with ADHD/ADD and/or autism and a substantial share with other mental disorders. We also offer programs for clients with substance abuse. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Assessment in the form of initial evaluation and more in-depth diagnostic conversations
• Planning medical treatment based on the assessment
• Ongoing medication control
• Possibly preparation of specialist declarations and other declarations
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration with the clinic's senior psychologists, specialist physicians and nurses regarding client pathways
• Ongoing professional sparring with and supervision of the clinic's clinical nurses
• Contribution to and participation in projects concerning development of the clinic's services and value proposition

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• Have Danish authorization and specialist qualification in psychiatry
• Have relevant experience from the hospital sector and/or private practice
• Would preferably have experience with assessment and treatment of ADHD and autism
• Work in a structured and independent manner, but thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration
