Here you have the opportunity to become part of a large outpatient clinic with 5 other specialists, 2 special psychologists, and training physicians, with whom you can always consult on challenging cases.

You will join a dynamic center where we maintain a continuous focus on improving our skills to enhance the treatment options for our patients. The position can be filled as both department head or senior physician.

The outpatient clinic has for several years been subspecialized, so teams treat patients with specific diagnoses. This means that employees have extensive experience with their patient groups and possess special competencies in relation to patient treatment. The outpatient clinic has two psychosis teams that treat patients who predominantly suffer from schizophrenia.

We have an affective team responsible for the treatment of depression and bipolar disorder and a team that treats patients with non-psychotic disorders, such as anxiety, personality disorders, ADHD and PTSD. All teams in the outpatient clinic work according to the F-ACT model.

The outpatient clinic has actively worked on implementing assessment and treatment and several group treatment offerings have been established. There is ongoing competence development of contact persons within DAT treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy. As a specialist physician you must be able to delegate responsibility and have the desire and ability to participate in planning and leading recovery-oriented, structured programs with close involvement of patients and relatives.

As some of the first in the Capital Region's psychiatry, we have begun integrated treatment of patients with dual diagnoses (mental illness and substance use) since September 2024. This is something we have looked forward to and prepared for. In the last 2 years we have had a formalized collaboration with Copenhagen municipality's substance use centers to ensure coordinated treatment of these citizens, so we are already well on the way. You will become part of this exciting initiative.

What tasks will you have?

You will have a clinical role in our F-ACT team, where your psychiatric specialist physician competencies will come into play. Here you will work closely with a special psychologist or another specialist physician in the team. You will also have close collaboration with a team coordinator who handles the daily planning of the team's work. The position does not include formal department leadership.

In close collaboration with the team you will have the following clinical tasks

• Oversee assessment, psychopharmacological treatment and possibly referral to other treatment offers
• Actively participate in FACT board meetings
• Visitation of new patients including assessment and diagnosis
• Participate in psychoeducation of patients and relatives
• Teaching and supervision of colleagues and YL
• Ensure capacity management in accordance with patient pathway descriptions
• Continue quality development

About us

The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic consists of four teams, each with approximately 225 patients. Each team also includes multidisciplinary staff such as nurse, occupational therapist, social worker and psychologist.

There is department leadership for all four teams consisting of a chief nurse and a leading senior physician, and all contact person positions are filled.

Salary and employment terms

Start on January 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is 37 hours per week. The position is on call. You will participate either in a round-the-clock back shift or Senior Physician on Front (SIF). Currently the arrangement is separately remunerated.

Depending on the position, employment will be made in accordance with the agreement for senior physicians, including the provisions of the agreement on working hours with salary placement as a senior physician (As a senior physician in the Capital Region's Psychiatry you are on-call), or the agreement for subordinate doctors, including the provisions of the agreement on working hours with salary placement as a specialist physician.

The region is a 24-hour area, and you may, upon concrete need, be planned for on-call at other times in accordance with the rules in the applicable working hours agreement/working hours rules in the collective agreement.
