We have a number of offers tied to the position as main training doctor in general medicine.

We offer

• Exciting training programs, where you have ample opportunity to bring your competences into play and further develop your skills
• Introduction course where you meet other trainee doctors in general medicine and the region's younger general medical training coordinators (DYNAMU)
• Association with a DYNAMU and General Medical Training Coordinator (AMU)
• Possibility of part-time position
• 4 annual mandatory thematic days for all trainee doctors in general medicine, focusing on networking, professional and clinical issues
• Opportunity to participate in a smaller supervision group with a medical supervisor already in phase 1
• Supervision by an experienced medical supervisor in phase 3
• Opportunity to train your practical skills at one of the Region's 4 Training and Learning Centers/simulation units
• Opportunity to receive a share of the competence development pool aimed at main training doctors in general medicine

Application

It is a prerequisite that by the time you commence your main training program, you have completed your introduction training in general medicine.

The main training program is applied for with a motivated application, where you describe your motivation to become a specialist in general medicine based on the doctor's 7 roles. Please describe your experiences and competences that you can draw on, and how you envision your future role as a specialist in general medicine to develop the profession.

To the application attach

• This CV template, which you will find at the bottom of our website
• Prioritization form – which is filled out via videreuddannelsen.dk
• Copy of passport and/or residence permit, if applicable.
• Documentation of completed introductory position in general medicine. Alternatively attach an assessment form indicating when you expect to finish your introductory program.
• Documentation of mandatory participation in medical on-call duty in your introductory position (qualification card no. 7) - If you have not achieved the qualifications at the time of application, a document must be attached that you have filled out together with the tutor indicating dates of planned on-call duties.

For all programs, child protection checks will be obtained via the Central Criminal Register prior to employment. Employment is conditional on a clean certificate.

Priority of positions

Based on a holistic assessment of your application and subsequent interview, the programs will be offered. The applicant deemed best qualified will receive first priority; number 2 will receive first priority if it is available, and so on. Therefore, it is important that you prioritize as many programs as possible, though only those you can and want to join.

Salaries and Terms of Employment

• Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
• The application deadline is on November 22 at 23:59.
• Employment interviews will be held on Tuesday 8 December 2026.

Invitation to employment interviews is expected to be sent no later than December 2. Here the interview time will appear.

Starting salary for collective agreement employees

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be told base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
