About the job

Socialfaglige og pædagogiske specialister i autisme og udviklingshæmning søges til Carelink Skærmede Boliger

Do you want to help create good living conditions for children, young people and adults with challenges who require a specialized residential service? Can you see yourself in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and in an organization that places a high value on professionalism? Then you are the person we are looking for.

Who are we?

Carelink Sheltered Housing is part of the Carelink Group, which is Denmark's largest private welfare group and which delivers services across health, employment, social welfare and elder care.

We in the Carelink Group work from the belief that every person has value and resources, but that the approach to this is individual. Our set of values is:

· We respect each other and the task

· We find solutions

· We do it properly

Carelink Sheltered Housing consists of 3 departments, where the target group is children, young people and adults with a need for a specially tailored residential offer pursuant to Barnets Lov §43 or Servicelovens §107 and §108.

The target group for each department is characterized by a number of challenges that require a special effort, and where the individual receives 1:1 or 2:1 support. The support is provided by social-work and pedagogical staff with specialized knowledge within the specific area.

The departments have the following target groups

· Crime and substance abuse

· Autism and developmental disabilities

· Psychiatry and self-harm

About the job

We are seeking a number of employees with a solid background and experience with the target group within Autism and developmental disabilities. Your background is pedagogical and/or health-related, and preferably with knowledge of pedagogical approaches and methods such as Low arousal and neuro- and autism pedagogy. You must thrive in close relational work with the citizens and at the same time take pride in supporting the citizen's development at a high professional level and in close cooperation with your colleagues.

You are employed as part of a team in the department and work together with your colleagues based on the department's methodological approaches and starting from the individual citizen's special needs. In daily work you report to a department manager.

There are predominantly day shifts, and you spend the shift either alone or together with a colleague, depending on the task's complexity. The task involves day, evening and night hours and

is planned on weekdays as well as weekends. The employment is 160.33 hours corresponding to a full-time position.

These are tasks where you need to be professionally well equipped for the job, be naturally curious about your own and others' professional knowledge and be able to translate development goals into practical pedagogical actions that support the citizen's development.

You must be able to thrive in a daily life that can be both changeable and require you to take responsibility and action on the challenges that arise, but also be able to assess when you should reach out for sparring and help from a colleague or a leader.

We expect from you

· That you have knowledge of and experience with working with socially vulnerable children, youth and adults - and their families/networks.

· That you have a relevant pedagogical or health professional education and relevant experience with the target group.

· That you can work independently, be initiativeminded, and that you can plan your own time, get follow-up and complete the things you start.

· That you can see yourself entering a team where things move fast and where we lift together.

· That you are flexible and responsible – and possess a high degree of tolerance and patience as well as the ability to maintain an overview in conflict-filled situations.

· That you have great commitment, are flexible and responsible while also being passionate about making a difference for children, young people and adults with various challenges.

· That you think holistically and can engage in both internal and external collaborative relationships.

· That you can approach your tasks systematically and organized.

· That you are good at observing and documenting your work on a professionally sound basis

· That you have a clean criminal record and child protection clearance.

· That you have a driver's license and own car

We offer

· An organization in ongoing development that values professionalism and integrity highly.

· A workplace with good colleagues at all levels, characterized by a high professional standard, great commitment and ambitions.

· Opportunity to become part of a professional community where there is also professional supervision and skills development.

· A day that is never the same.

· Meaningful work where every day we help ensure the best possible conditions for the citizens we are responsible for.
