Specialists with experience in psychiatry and self-harm sought for Carelink Shielded Housing
Would you like to help create good conditions for children, youths and adults with challenges who need a specially arranged housing solution? Can you see yourself in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and in an organization that places a high value on professionalism? Then it is you we are looking for.
Who are we?
Carelink Shielded Housing is part of Carelink Group, which is Denmark's largest private welfare group and which provides services across health, employment, social sector and elder care.
In Carelink Group we work from the belief that all people have both value and resources, but that the approach to this is individual. Our set of values is:
· We have respect for each other and the task
· We find solutions
· We do it properly
Carelink Shielded Housing consists of 3 departments, where the target group is children, youths and adults who need a specially tailored residential offer in accordance with the Child Act §43 or the Social Services Act §107 and §108.
The target group for each department is characterized by a number of challenges that require a special effort, and where the individual receives 1:1 or 2:1 support. The support is provided by social and pedagogical staff with specialized knowledge within the specific area.
The departments have the following target groups
· Crime and substance abuse
· Autism and intellectual disability
· Psychiatry and self-harm
About the job
We are seeking a number of employees with a solid background and experience with the target group within psychiatry and self-harm. Your background is pedagogical and/or health-related, and preferably with knowledge of pedagogical approaches and methods such as Low Arousal, mentalization and the appreciative approach. You should thrive in close relational work with the citizens and at the same time take pride in supporting the citizen’s development at a high professional level and in close cooperation with your colleagues.
You are employed as part of a team in the department and work together with your colleagues according to the department's methodological approaches and based on each citizen's special needs. You report in daily life to a department head.
There are predominantly night shifts, and you spend the shift either alone or together with a colleague, depending on the complexity of the task. The task entails day, evening and night hours and
is planned for both weekdays and weekends. The employment corresponds to 160.33 hours, i.e. a full-time position.
The tasks require you to be professionally well-equipped for the job, to be naturally curious about your own and others' professionality and to be able to translate development goals into practical pedagogical measures that support the citizen’s development.
You must be able to thrive in a daily life that can be both changeable and require you to take responsibility and act on the challenges that arise, but also be able to assess when you should reach out for sparring and help from a colleague or manager.
We expect from you
· That you have knowledge of and experience with working with socially vulnerable children, youths and adults - and their families/networks.
· That you have a relevant pedagogical or social work education and relevant experience with the target group.
· That you can work independently, be initiatory, and that you can plan your own time, follow up and complete the things you initiate.
· That you can see yourself joining a team where things move quickly, and where we lift as a group.
· That you are flexible and responsible – and possess a high degree of openness and patience as well as the ability to maintain an overview in conflictful situations.
· That you possess a strong engagement, are flexible and responsible while you are passionate about making a difference for children, youths and adults with various challenges.
· That you think holistically and can engage in both internal and external collaborative relationships.
· That you can approach your tasks systematically and in a structured way.
· That you are good at observing and documenting your work on a professionally sound basis
· That you have a clean criminal and child protection record.
· That you have a driving license and your own car
We offer
· An organization in constant development that places high value on professionalism and integrity.
· A workplace with good colleagues at all levels, characterized by a high professional level, great commitment and ambitions.
· The opportunity to become part of a professional community where there is also professional supervision and skills development.
· A daily life that is never the same.
· Meaningful work where we every day contribute to ensuring the best possible conditions for the citizens we are responsible for.
