About the job

Would you like to make everyday life a little better for others (and for yourself)? And would you like to become part of a team where professionalism, presence, and good relationships are important elements in daily life? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for for Team Skovcentret.

We are seeking a social and health care assistant with eligibility to start January 1, 2027, or by agreement.

Who are we? – Team Skovcentret

With us you will be part of a team with four units, where we work across and focus on creating a safe and meaningful daily life for our residents.

We are in an exciting development, where we among other things work with the new Elder Law, our professional direction and the establishment of a team coordinator. It gives us new opportunities to develop our practice and find good solutions together.

We place emphasis on good collaboration, where we can be professionally ambitious, help each other and have room for humor in daily life. We therefore seek a colleague who wants to contribute with their professional competencies, ideas and commitment.

Your role as SSA with us

As an SSA you will have an important role in daily life and help ensure that our residents experience quality, safety and continuity in care.

Your tasks will among others be

  • be the contact person and create good, safe relationships with residents
  • ensure quality and coherence in care
  • manage medication handling, injections, wound care and other delegated nursing tasks
  • contribute to professional sparring and development in the team
  • collaborate with colleagues, interdisciplinary partners and relatives about the best possible daily life for the residents.

We imagine that you…

  • are educated as a social- and health care assistant
  • thrive with both professional tasks and close contact with residents
  • are eager to take responsibility and contribute to the development of our practice
  • are curious, reflective and can maintain an overview, even when it is busy
  • meet residents, relatives and colleagues with an affirmative approach.

We offer you…

  • a thorough introduction with support from a mentor and good colleagues
  • opportunity to become part of a team where we continuously work with collaboration and the working environment
  • high professionalism and opportunity for professional development and competence expansion
  • a workplace with room for diversity and professional sparring in daily life
  • opportunity to bring your own strengths into play and have influence on your workday and the team’s development
  • a job where you can make a concrete difference for our residents every day.

Application process

The application deadline is Friday the 13th of November 2026 at 23.59.

We expect to conduct interviews on the 18th, 20th and 23rd of November 2026.

Start date is the 1st of January 2027, or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms

The position is full-time in principle, but a lower number of hours can be negotiated. You work every other weekend and will primarily be on day shifts.

Starting salary in the position is expected to take basis in the base salary schedule in the collective agreement for social- and health personnel, social- and health assistant (kr. 29,579.60 – 34,898.10). In addition there is pension of 15.29 %.

Additionally there will be the possibility of negotiating individual allowances based on relevant competencies as well as a functional allowance.
