At Plejecenter Bakkebo we are looking for an engaged social- and health-care helper or social- and health-care assistant for a fixed day shift of 30 hours per week – with the possibility to arrange more hours.

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with older people, have an eye for the individual’s needs and thrive in a daily life where professionalism, care and collaboration go hand in hand.

About us

Bakkebo is a nursing home with 47 beds, of which 5 temporary accommodation places and 8 dementia beds in our dementia unit Havehuset.

We work to create a safe, dignified and meaningful daily life based on the individual resident’s wishes, resources and life history.

With us, we are one house, where we help each other and lift tasks together.

Who are you?

We hope that you

• Are trained as a social- and health-care helper or social- and health-care assistant and eager to actively use your professional skills.
• Have experience with or an interest in the dementia field and preferably a person-centered approach.
• Can work independently, take responsibility and maintain an overview – even when daily life is unpredictable.
• Are professionally curious and attentive to changes in residents’ needs and condition.
• Value good collaboration with colleagues, residents and relatives.
• Contribute with engagement, good humor and a desire to make a difference.
