Store Manager at Racket House Frederiksberg

Racket House ApS operates some of Denmark's strongest niche webshops within racket sports, including Padelshoppen, Badmintonshoppen and Tennisshoppen – as well as several physical stores and B2B. Our store in Frederiksberg, Racket House Frederiksberg, is the hub for racket sports in the area, and we are now seeking a store manager who can lead the operations and sales.

You are the type who loves running a store: creating a unique customer experience, making the numbers work, and getting the day-to-day running to work.

The role

As store manager you have the daily responsibility for Racket House Frederiksberg: operations, sales, customer experience and staff. You set the direction in the store, lead from the floor yourself and ensure that both revenue and customers are at the top. You report to CCO, Mikkel Normann.

Stringing

Stringing is a central part of the store and of your responsibility. We belong among the country’s strongest stringing locations and string for Yonex national team players plus local clubs and customers. That standard you will help maintain and develop with high quality, fast delivery times and a place that runs professionally, whether it is a club player or an elite player handing over their racket.

Your main tasks

• Daily operation of the store and responsibility to meet sales and profitability targets
• Sales and guidance on the floor – you are a strong salesperson yourself
• People management: scheduling, training and daily leadership of the store team
• Inventory, ordering and replenishment in collaboration with purchasing
• Responsible for stringing, including quality, delivery time, operations and overview
• The store's visual appearance, ensuring it always looks sharp and presentable
• Ensure a high customer experience and strong service
• Stringing service
• Local relationships with clubs and players in the area
• Collaboration with the webshop and marketing team on campaigns and in-store exposure

We imagine that you

• Have experience from retail, ideally as store manager, assistant manager or deputy
• Are a skilled salesperson and thrive with responsibility for numbers and targets
• Can string racquets to a high level or are ready to learn (we will train you)
• Can lead, motivate and plan for a team
• Are structured, independent and proactive
• Have interest or knowledge of racket sports (padel, tennis, badminton, pickleball, table tennis). Not a requirement, but a plus.
• Are keen to help develop the store to be the leading one in the Copenhagen area
