About the job

You will have a central role close to both management and product development and become an important liaison on the journey from idea, contact to suppliers, samples to a finished product in stock.

Your tasks and areas of responsibility will include, among others

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
• Find and develop collaborations with new international suppliers
• Negotiate prices, MOQs, terms and delivery times
• Collaborate closely with other functions and especially product development on new products and packaging
• Plan procurement based on forecasts, sales and inventory
• Ensure optimal inventory and high on-time delivery
• Follow up on samples, productions, quality and supplier performance
• Analyze and act on purchasing data, prices, margins and forecast
• Be involved in developing and professionalising the company\'s purchasing and supply chain processes as the business scales
• Spot new opportunities and help shape the future of Yuaia Haircare

Qualifications

The most important is that you have drive, business understanding and a desire to take ownership. In addition, the key qualifications for success in the job are:

• You have experience with strategic procurement, sourcing or supply chain
• You are passionate, proactive and motivated by good commercial sense
• You are commercially strong and have good negotiation skills while building relationships
• You work in a structured and confident manner with Excel and data
• You are analytical and can translate data into concrete decisions
• You can keep an overview of many tasks at once
• You are curious and continually looking for improvement opportunities
• You take initiative and follow things through to completion
• You thrive in a company where pace is high and decision-making is fast
• You have energy, drive and want to make a difference in a high-growth company
• You speak/write English at a high level, as the role has international interfaces.
• Experience with international suppliers, beauty, FMCG, retail or e-commerce is an advantage but not required.
