Student assistant for automation and business development

Become the operations manager's right hand at Holstebro Vægtservice.

We have weighed Denmark since 1977, from fish to loaded trucks. Now we are rebuilding the business: more digital, more structured and ready for growth.

To that end we are seeking a student who will work closely with the operations manager to develop the business. The path from idea to action is short, and the responsibility is greater than typical student jobs offer. You are also welcome to use HOVA as a case in your semester project, bachelor or master thesis.

8 to 15 hours per week, adjusted to your semester. Hourly wage according to qualifications.

Expected start as soon as possible. Typically 1 to 2 fixed days in Holstebro, the rest we agree on once you know your schedule. We are about 30 minutes from Herning via the highway.

Your first task

When you are integrated into the company, your first task will be to investigate how we can streamline and perhaps automate the process around selling labels to customers. From there you will help identify which processes we can most easily streamline and derive the most value from.

Responsibilities

• Develop webshop and website: create products, improve content and generate upsell
• Produce social media content that shows what we do
• Drive initiated initiatives to completion
• Investigate and present processes and structure so the business can scale
• Test and build automations with AI, Make or N8N, and figure out what actually works

In the beginning we focus mostly on the first three, but gradually your area of responsibility will develop as you start and grow.

You will also accompany the technicians to customers to see what we do and lend a hand in the workshop when e.g. orders need to be packed.

Who are you?

• You are studying e.g. BDE or ITKO in Herning, or something similar
• You are curious and hardworking, and you get things done, not just started
• You dare to make decisions and stand by them
• You don't need to be able to code, but AI should spark your curiosity. If you know Make or N8N, that's a plus
• You don't need to know anything about weights. It will come.
