Student assistant with an interest in economics and public transport

Do you want to use your economic expertise in practice and help develop public transport in Central Denmark Region?

Midttrafik is looking for an analytical and engaged student assistant who would like to work with financial calculations, analyses and reporting. Here you will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned at university to concrete issues and contribute to the development of public transport.

About the job

In the role you will gain insight into the financial relationships behind public transport. You contribute to creating a solid basis for decisions and you will have the opportunity to work independently with your tasks in close collaboration with your colleagues.

You will become part of a team with seven dedicated colleagues, where there are good opportunities for professional sparring and collaboration.

Your tasks

Your tasks will among other things be to

• Prepare economic analyses
• Contribute to further development of digital solutions
• Budgeting and follow-up

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain practical experience in translating economic data into usable knowledge.

About you

We imagine that you are a student with an interest in economics and analysis. You want to apply your knowledge from your studies in practice and thrive on delving into numbers and economic problems. You work in a structured way, have an eye for detail and see your tasks through to the end.

Application and recruitment process

The position is 20 hours per week with start as soon as possible and no later than 1 December 2026.
