About the job

Would you like to try your hand at tasks within project management and support in a large digitisation programme? And would you like to help develop public IT infrastructure in the Faroe Islands and Greenland? Then you may be our new student assistant.

Who are we?

The Danish Courts Administration is part of Denmark's Courts. Our task is to administer and develop the courts, including IT and digitalisation.

You will become part of the North Atlantic Programme, which aims to digitalise the case handling process at the Greenlandic and Faroese courts and ensure that communication with citizens, businesses and organisations is at the same level as the Danish courts.

We are an organisation that places great emphasis on being good colleagues and supporting each other professionally. As a student assistant you will work together with experienced and capable colleagues who will help you develop your competencies and support you in your tasks. You will also become part of a larger group of students who work with different subject areas and have a strong sense of community. We are now looking for a new student assistant who can contribute to solving a wide range of tasks in our PMO unit.

What will you do?

The PMO unit consists of teams within financial management, administration and method and quality management. You will become part of the method and quality assurance team, which supports both the North Atlantic Programme and other initiatives in the Center for IT (CIT).

You will be expected to help ensure structure, quality and progress in the programme's deliverables through close collaboration with your nearest colleagues in the PMO unit and the programme's various professional areas.

Your main tasks will be to help with

  • coordinate and follow up on the programme's documentation, including plans, solution descriptions and strategies, and ensure that the relevant deliverables are prepared, quality assured and approved in a timely manner
  • prepare contributions to status material, presentations and reporting to management and the steering group
  • support the programme's workflows, including governance processes and document management
  • various ad hoc tasks in the unit and across the programme.

If you are interested, there will also be opportunities to try your hand at helping with

  • facilitation of workshops and meetings
  • development of methods, templates and tools for project and programme management.

Who are you?

We expect that you have completed the first year and have at least one year left of a higher academic education in fields such as social sciences, IT and digitalisation or communication.

You should have a desire to work with the management of a large public IT project and thrive with a changing workday. Since you will work with many different internal and external stakeholders, it is also important that you enjoy being proactive, are not afraid to take initiative, think creatively and ask questions.

Finally we would like you to

  • be systematic, structured and have a good sense of planning
  • be good at communicating both in writing and verbally
  • contribute to the good working environment and help where needed.

Salary and employment terms

You will be employed as a hourly-paid student assistant under the common agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organisations – The Civil Service Area (OAO-S common agreement) as well as the organisational agreement for Office Administrators, Laboratory Technicians and IT staff (HK).

Your weekly working time will be on average 15 hours. The distribution of working hours can be flexibly agreed depending on your studies.

This is a fixed-term position with an expected duration until the end of 2029.

The position is available from 1 January 2027

The Danish Courts Administration is located at both Gammel Mønt and Amagerfælledvej. In this position you will for the time being have your place of work at Gammel Mønt.
