If you are studying an engineering degree and would like to give high school students an insight into the everyday life of a student, we would like to hear from you!

We are looking for good study communicators who can undertake various outreach tasks aimed at high schools and potential students in general. You will be part of a joint Visit Service for the engineering programs. Your tasks will primarily be activities aimed at high school visits to your own education, but there will also be tasks across the engineering institutes (U-days, Open House, Study Internship, etc.). The work is paid by the hour, and the working hours are very varied. If you already have a student job, the position can often be combined with this.

Responsibilities include, among others

• To be a guide and host during high school visits and similar
• To hold subject-specific workshops for visiting high school classes and assist with developing the content
• To give presentations about your education (in person and online)
• To talk about your education at open house events
• One-on-one matching with high school students who want to try being a student for a day

And a lot more. We are actively developing the area, and your input is also welcome.

• That you are an engineering student at the Faculty of Technical Science (Aarhus)
• That you want to communicate/outreach
• That you are responsible, friendly and accommodating

Working hours and location

You will be contacted about tasks on an ongoing basis. As a rule, there are no tasks in July, early August, or December. The monthly working hours will vary, and there can be months with 0 hours, i.e., anything from 0 to 10 hours per month may occur. The workplace is, as a rule, at your place of study.

Formalities

Employment is in accordance with the agreement for student instructors at universities, etc., entered into between the Ministry of Taxation and the Danish Association of Student Employees and the Association of Danish Medical Students.

You must be an active student and document that you are enrolled at a higher education institution.
