About the job

If you study Plant and Food Science at AU Viborg - or a related degree at Aarhus University - and would like to give upper secondary school students and sabbatists an insight into the daily life of a student, we would like to hear from you!

We are looking for a study communicator who can handle various outreach tasks aimed at upper secondary education and potential students in general. Your tasks will primarily be activities aimed at high school visits to AU Viborg's programs as well as participation in educational events on campus as well as off-campus. Additionally there may be various communications tasks.

The tasks will be particularly focused on communicating about Plant and Food Science, but also about AU Viborg's two other programs (Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine).

You will be well briefed for the job, and you will become part of a team of other study communicators. The most important thing you should possess is a desire to communicate about AU Viborg's programs.

Responsibilities include, among others

  • to be a guide and host during high school visits, 'student for a day' and similar
  • to give presentations about AU Viborg's programs (in person and online)
  • to talk about AU Viborg's programs at open house events
  • to staff educational stands at off-site events

And a lot more. We are actively developing the area, and your input is also welcome.

We offer

  • a job relevant to your studies, where you gain experience in outreach and the opportunity to inspire others to study a program at AU Viborg
  • an outreach course, where you are equipped to welcome the visitors
  • opportunity to develop yourself as a communicator during your study period

We expect

  • that you are a student at AU Viborg or a related program at Aarhus University. Please state in your application which program you are studying.
  • that you want to communicate
  • that you are responsible, friendly and approachable
  • that you participate in a study-outreach course

Send us a short application and your CV.
