The student job

At Cand we have an established collaboration with an exciting consulting and IT company in the middle of Aalborg. Here you, like 14 other students before you, can pave the way for your upcoming Business Consultant career. As an Associate Business Central Consultant you will become part of their implementation and customer team. Here you help set up Microsoft Dynamics 365 and their own ERP solutions.

The most important is that you understand financial processes , would you like a life in the consulting industry and can see the connections. It is the technical aspects you learn along the way.

You start in a structured onboarding program, where you are thoroughly prepared. The purpose of the student position is that you shall become a future full-time consultant after completed your studies, which is why many resources will be invested to sharpen your consulting skills as well as your knowledge within Microsoft Business Central.

Tasks (that develop over time)

• Help customers implement Microsoft Business Central. In addition, provide advice regarding customers' wishes and changes
• Develop yourself to become a future Business Central consultant
• Participate in client meetings and workshops (later drive them yourself)
• Solve and anticipate challenges together with the other business consultants in the Customer Success Team
• Act as a trusted digital advisor, when you guide and recommend customers on how they get the latest functionalities in their business
• In time be responsible for different workstreams and on-site workshops during implementations

You're never alone, and you have a dedicated manager, a team to spar with and clear frameworks for your development.

Your path

• First month: Certification in Microsoft Dynamics
• Thereafter : Training in the consultant role and participation in client meetings
• After about 6 months: You work more independently, but with close sparring with your manager and your team
• In the long run: Possibility for permanent employment after completing studies

The company

As a student assistant you will become part of an international company with more than 100 employees spread across offices in Aalborg, Copenhagen and Brisbane, Australia. The company specializes in ERP and CRM solutions for companies in the travel industry and has a goal of becoming the travel industry's preferred ERP partner. In addition to a high level of ambition you can also expect to work in an employee-focused and -driven environment, where there is a high internal investment to ensure daily growth.

Your workplace will be at the office in Aalborg, where you will report directly to the project manager. Therefore there will be no long way from idea to action.

Who are you?

• You are a master's student in economics (or starting soon)
• Have solid understanding of economics (e.g., accounting, processes, controlling, finance)
• Dare to speak up and talk to customers
• Are curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• Can see yourself in the consulting industry

You do not need to have experience with Dynamics 365. You will be trained in it.
