Student job: Economics & BI - consultant

Our partner, an international software company in growth, is seeking a student for the backoffice team who can take ownership of the tasks from day one.

The study job

The position is placed in the company's backoffice team, where you will take a central role around invoicing and month-end closing. You report to the CFO and collaborate closely with a colleague based in Spain, who acts as your daily sparring partner and mentor in the startup period. The team meets daily on Teams, so you quickly become part of the daily flow.

The thing that makes the role special is the combination of financial work and a clear IT focus. You start by getting into the invoicing and month-end closing processes, where you quickly take responsibility for documenting and optimizing them. From here, larger tasks open up in building Power BI, development and planning, depending on how quickly you develop. This is not a role where you merely perform fixed tasks, but you must also help spot improvement opportunities and actively use AI tools in your work.

Tasks

• Invoicing - understand, document, and optimize the process
• Month-end close - quality assurance and identification of efficiency opportunities
• Building reporting and dashboards in Power BI
• Support of development tasks across backoffice
• Contribute to planning and structure in the team's workflows
• Active use of AI tools to make your own work more efficient

The company

Our partner is a Danish-founded software company that develops a cloud-based platform for the insurance industry. The company has its headquarters in Copenhagen and about 65 employees spread between Denmark, Romania and Spain. Since its start, the company has grown to deliver its solution to insurance companies in several countries and remains in a growth phase.

You will become part of a small, tightly knit backoffice team with an informal tone and high well-being. Here you get direct access to the company's financial core and insight into how an international software house is run in practice. A solid starting point for a career in finance, business intelligence or financial management.
