Student job: Financial Assistant

The student job

You will become part of the finance team and take on a broad role in daily financial administration. The team handles tasks across expense reports, invoicing, reconciliations and creditors, and you will be embedded as a permanent resource in day-to-day operations.

The role gives you insight into an international company's finance function from the ground up. You start with the recurring core tasks, but will gradually have the opportunity to move into more analytical work, including with PowerBI, as you settle in. The role suits you who are detail-oriented and quick to learn, and who are not afraid to dive into new systems. You do not need to be far along in your studies, but you should be able to navigate calmly in a daily life with many inputs.

Tasks

• Handling of expense reports
• Invoicing
• Reconciliations
• Support of the monthly Intrastat declaration to Statistics Denmark
• Accounts payable management
• Ad hoc tasks across the team
• PowerBI analysis and reporting in due course

The company

Our partner is a Danish software company with headquarters in Copenhagen, founded in 2000 and today a global market leader in configuration software for complex products. The company is part of an international group and delivers its solutions to large manufacturing companies in Denmark, the USA and Germany.

You will become part of a finance team of eight people, who work closely across tasks and borders in an informal and internationally oriented culture. The position provides you with a solid foundation for a career in finance and economics in an international software company.
