About the job
Study job with meaning? Become advisor at Djøf
Do you want a study job where you really get sharp on working life, law and advice? Then read on. At Djøf's student advisory service we help members with everything from job search to legal questions. And we continuously look for new students who want to join.
Become part of our unique community in Djøf's student advisory service
In Djøf's student assignment community your primary focus is to advise, guide and assist our members in their working life. You do this by advising both by phone and by email, where the member's wishes and needs shape your workday.
We are a self-managing team that runs the day-to-day together, and you will get plenty of insight and responsibility in the job. As one of our advisers says:
”My job as advisor in Djøf's student advisory service is exciting because every day offers new challenges. One day I get questions about career guidance, or questions about the right to pay during illness. Other days, I negotiate rights with an employer on behalf of a member. I gain a lot of skills that I can surely use in my future working life, no matter where or what I end up having to work with when I finish my studies”;
Sofus Lorentzen, Advisor in the Student Advisory
As an employee in Djøf's Student Advisory, you can look forward to
- be the members' sparring partner regarding job searching, working life, salary negotiations, CV/applications, job interviews and wellbeing
- advise members on legal areas such as contract and terms of employment
- make calls to our members and offer them relevant advice and sparring based on their situation
- negotiate and advise in cases about e.g. missing pay or dismissals – we handle the case from start to finish in close collaboration with Djøf's legal consultants
- participate in advising Djøf's members in the public and private sector
- have ongoing opportunities to influence your own tasks and develop your skills
- gain broad knowledge of the labour market and employment-law issues
We naturally do not expect you to be able to handle all tasks from the start. You will be well prepared through a training program, just as you will, together with the rest of the team, be continuously upskilled so you can deliver high-quality advice to our members. You will join a team where everyone is a student – and where people help each other. We are 30 students with diverse educational backgrounds, ranging from law, psychology, political science, communications and business economics.
We are looking for you who perhaps can nod to some of this
- are studying a relevant program at e.g. the University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School or Roskilde University and have a few years left of your studies
- enjoy a role as an advisor that involves daily conversations with different profiles
- are curious about case handling and employment-law knowledge – and perhaps already have experience with it
- are efficient and motivated by working purposefully and result-oriented toward the team’s goals
- can show flexibility and keep an overview – even when it is busy

The small print
Working hours are 15 hours per week and generally between 8.45 and 16.15 Monday to Friday. You will participate in one team meeting per month and one monthly calling event in connection with the outreach advisory. Both activities take place in the time frame from 16:00 to 19:00. In addition, we expect you to be willing, from time to time, to participate at fairs and represent Djøf at our stands, if we visit study sites. Your workplace will be at Djøf, on Nørreport in Copenhagen. You will be paid monthly, and the salary is 11,478.43 DKK.
