About the job
Would you like to help develop and manage Alcohol & Society's presence on social media and try your hand at different content types, so we can pave the way for a more sustainable drinking culture?
We are seeking a student assistant who can strengthen our presence on social media and thereby help ensure our strategic work to change Danes' relationship with alcohol.
You are used to using social media through your own interest or student jobs and therefore have knowledge of what works on the different channels (especially Facebook, Instagram and TikTok). You are full of good ideas and have a clear knack for shaping, building and maintaining digital communication that elevates the organization's brand and messages – also in front of the camera.
You will become part of Communications & Press, which consists of five full-time employees. As there is not much distance from idea to action with us, you will have the opportunity to put your own mark on your tasks. You will become the primary producer of content (video, text, graphics) for Alcohol & Society's social media channels and take on the role of community manager. Therefore you also play an important role in getting our campaigns to come alive on social media. All with sparring and feedback from nearby colleagues.
One of your tasks will also be to start up SoMe channels (Instagram and TikTok) for Alcohol & Society's new youth initiative HELT MED, as well as producing content for these. Here you will have the opportunity to help shape the way we communicate to and with young people aged 14 to 25 about alcohol, parties and communities.
The tasks consist of
- Campaign planning for SoMe
- Content production (paid/organic) including text, images, graphics and video
- Community management on SoMe channels
Who are you?
- You are currently studying a media, journalism or communications program
- You preferably have at least 1 year of relevant experience with similar tasks, perhaps from an editorial team or a communications department
- You are a strong writer and communicator with a visual sense
- You have experience with and interest in video production – both in front of and behind the camera
- You are able to listen to the current 'conversation' on social media and tap into existing trends with our messages
We offer
- A dynamic working environment with engaged colleagues and strong opportunities for sparring
- 16 hours per week. Flexible working hours that accommodate your studies
Workplace and hours
Your daily workplace is in our office community at Høffdingsvej 36, 2500 Valby. We hope to find a student assistant who can start in January 2027. The working hours are 16 hours per week.
